The basis for the project was to create a space where there was a group of dedicated people with similar characteristics but a group of people with totally different and yet the space that is enjoyable for all.
Basic needs for more frequent users were to have a space where they could move and move and it was nice, so I came to design an indoor arena to which I named "urban forest" because it is a kind of sculptural work that serves as a place. The name is given because it gives the feeling of being protected under a mass of organic forms, which represent the trees of the forest and the forest without losing that feeling of being in the city.
Aside from being a place to feel out of town, is a space which integrates both the urban and natural, where you feel refugee, although you do not stop to appreciate that you are still in the city.
The square was located in a residential-commercial use and where the flow, both vehicular and pedestrian is moderate to high.
After taking into account all these features we decided to use plastic as the main material (waves that form the roof), concrete (floor) and steel (for the posts supporting the roof).
In this way the material is likely to seem less resistant plastic, however, was the only one who possessed the characteristics to achieve desired shapes in a more comfortable and steel was used as a supplement to make it more resistant.
Concluding we can say that this space is not created for an individual or a group of specific people, is designed for the enjoyment of all and make more pleasant the city tour.
